What I have not tried is the Yamaha MIDI/USB UX-16. M-Audio USB works fine with the updated drivers installed. I actually went to Guitar Center, took a G4 notebook along, fired up GB and started going through the whole store with what worked and what did not. It won't satisfy a concert pianist but for those of us that are interested in creating music with a semblance of realism as we record, the KSP 88 is sweet. I own the Keystation Pro 88 and it is an exceptional value for the $$. That is why their make their own for a Mac, but like it has been said elsewhere in this discusion, go with what is working, M-Audio is a great example. Yamaha wants you to use their midi drivers and they are not 100 compatible with Mac yet. USB/Yamaha/Apple are not words that normally work in the same sentence in my experience. I have found from first hand experience that Casio and Yamaha keyboards will only interface with a MIDI in connection as a controller.
